Welcome to the School of Industrial Psychology and Human Resources

At the School of Industrial Psychology and Human Resources, we educate and develop Industrial Psychologists and Human Resource Practitioners for South Africa and beyond. We embrace our motto of We Care in learning and teaching, research, and engagement. The School comprises the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology and the Department of Human Resource Management.

 

The offerings of our School are threefold: learning and teaching, research, and engagement. Through our learning and teaching practices, the members of our team incorporate the values of caring, nurturing, and academic and personal growth. We provide a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In terms of engagement, staff members practice as consultants for the industry in their fields of expertise and provide targeted interventions. We nurture the virtues of responsible citizenship in our students and staff through work-based learning and through participating in community outreach initiatives.
